Today I whent camping when we got to the camp site. we made the tent. then my mom supriesed us when she and garrett drove by. And sed that they wanted to go camping with us. sens it was sa post to be me my dad and sister. so when they got out we whent on a hike. it felt like it was 2 hours but then we fineally got to this lake. cald the secret lake. it was cald that because it was be hined a moutun that we had to hike over. the water was prity cold when I put my hands in it. when we were don we went back down it was really step. when we were almost back so I started to run thats when I triped and i fell. down and my ne was bleding .So when we got back to camp my dad put a band aad on it. And we ate and started a fire and we rosted marsh melos. and played corn holly o tell 9. Then we whent in the tent and fell asleep. it was hard to fall asleep because it was garrett first time camping. But then he fell asleep and it started to raine the next morning. We ate brekfist and then packed then we left.

Sunday, August 8th

Today I built a halo gun out of cardbord and ducktape and scissors. the first cupl of times I mest up but then i got it. it was prity cool. I thout it was really fun to make. but it felt like it was a hour for me to build it. but then I thout of how to make more for lukes halo movie that he was going to make so im going to let him use it for his halo movie. $

I had a fun day I . Had a play date with jack we played legos. It was lots off fun.

Third Grade

D: We played soccer and I was like the best goalie ever. I blocked the fourth grader's goal. Noah tried to score. We did math after recess. It's hard to explain. It was easy. It's awesome upstairs..now I'm closer to Nathan.

M: Did you see Nathan and Jacob at school today?)

D: I saw Nathan. That's all.

M: How are you liking your new shoes?

D: Good. I don't want to do this stupid blog.
M: Who was I just on the phone with?
D: The dog person...when are we going to get our dog?
M: There is a pregnant dog right now who could have puppies any day. Once she has them, we'll see if there is one that fits the description of what we want.

D: That'll take a year. I am going to Nathan and Jacob's.

California 2009

I'm dead (his response when Mom asks him what is going on with him.) I came back from California. I went surfing. I went with my cousin Jackson and my cousin Caroline. They liked it. We all kinda caught waves. Well, we caught like five. The water was cold. We wore a wet suit. My instructor's name was Tony. I went bogey boarding. I don't like it as much as surfing because on surf boards you can stand up and on bogey boards you only get to lay down on your stomach. It was sunny all the time in California.


My babysitter Morgan came. She flew there. We drove. It took a long time. It was kind of fun. Sometimes we were bored. The fun part was watching movies. We watched The Secret of Nim, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, and Star Wars Clone Wars. I had a couple snacks on the way; Pirates Booty and Sunchips. We stayed at a hotel with my Grandpa and Grandma Hoopes and all my cousins. When I woke up I would first eat breakfast at my Grandma's "house".


Then I would roller blade. It was really fun. It was my first time. I used my cousin Jeffery's. I did ripstick and skateboard too. Then we would go down to the beach. We went wave diving, and built sandcastles. We dived in the waves or jumped in the waves. It was with my cousin Jefferey or Jackson and no grown ups. It was not scary. The waves were huge. We saw dolphins in the water. We built huge sandcastles. Dad's cousin built this huge whale. And my dad buried me and Jackson.


The sitter was really nice. She took us to a roller coaster one day. We walked and it took 20 minutes but it felt like two hours...it took forever. The roller coaster was fun. We went straight down. I was a little bit scared.


I went to the Shamu Show at Sea World. We saw Shamu do flips and dive in the water. We sat in the second row so we got soaked. Then I went on The Atlantis. It was really scary. I went straight down three times. I went with my cousin Jeffery, my Dad, my sister and my Mom. We went on Raging Rapids. It was good. We got soaked too. Jeffery didn't want to go on Atlantis. He liked Raging Rapids.


We got treats like sodas, funnel cakes, lemonade icees and we went to the dolphin show. Yeah, we didn't get as soaked as the Shamu show. But I liked it. Dolphins did back flips and stuff. Shelby liked the dolphins. She didn't really like getting splashed.


We saw polar bears and penguins. We got four penguins (toys). There was this really cool helicopter ride that felt like you were on a helicopter so you crashed on to mountains and stuff but Shelby didn't really like it because it went sideways and crashed in to walls. It was Jeffery's favoritest ride and mine too. There was fireworks. We saw sharks. I didn't really like the fish except for this alligator fish that looked like an alligator. My mom and my Aunt had a Birthday at the beach and the cake was SO GOOD.


Me and my cousins played DS with each other because they had a DS and Pokemon game too. And we did picto chat on our DS's. We played hide and go seek in all the buildings and stuff and ran all over the place and played hide and seek tag so when they found us we had to go with them and be it too. And, uhm Jeffery told me all about the new Harry Potter movie. We played paddle ball, me and Jeffery. I won. Don don duh.

Wicked World of Dalton

I have a bad sick cough. My life's miserable. I'm dying. (OK, mom -the typer intervening for a moment here to say YEAH RIGHT!)...OK, I got a new Wii game called Fifa 09. It's fun. I got it from my grandma Paula because I'm cool. School is good. We are getting ready for our Africa play. We will be dancing and playing our rain sticks. I had my birthday on February 8th. It was fun. We got to go to Disneyland. It was fun. I got to go on Screamer the whole time with dad (and mom once). Mom was puke-o-ramma. She does not like rollercoasters. I didn't have a worst part of the trip. I hated "It's a Small World". I liked "Soaring Over California". You went high in the sky. I loved "Thunder Mountain". Mom went on it with me once, and dad a bunch. My teacher Melanie opened up my birthday card, that I brought to school and she read it in front of the entire class and it said I was going to Disneyland and I didn't think it was true but a couple of my friends went over to the window and were like "Hey dude your mom is really here" and so I knew it was true. I thought it was going to be really fun because I never went before and it was. I had a birthday party too. It was fun. All my friends came. We did a football party. The cake was a football. I got uhm, a new football, a flag football set and one baukugan and some candy, two gift certificates and one ten dollar and a skate ramp. Garrett is good. He is messing up stuff and eating it. He's tooken his first step. And his first word was mama (MOM HERE AGAIN, really: it's more like momomomomomomo, which is why I have not written about this momentous occasion on my blog) and he just barely learned how to clap. I got to eat over at Nathan and Jacob's house because it was their brother Zack's birthday and he let us play with his toys he got: these ninjas and a transformer that I didn't play with and a spiderman Nerf shooter and some blocks and some Kinex and that's all for now. But his real birthday is on Wednesday or somethin. OK, done, action, lights, CUT.

My stomach is killing. My head hurts. I feel like I need to go to the Doctor's and cut off my head.

Yesterday I got sick and my friend had the sickness and I do not know how I got it.

I have been going to school, playing with my friends. That's pretty much all. I have been playing basketball and I am going to start flag football. At the last basketball game I scored ten thousand shots. My dad took me to Maggie Moo's for ice cream after. I got bubble gum. It's blue. The weather is crummy. It is snowing outside. I am just playing today and having a stomach ache. I am not going to school.

I made a new DS game for Shelby. It's Pokemon. I like Pokemon because my friend has a DS and we like to be against each other.

I had a really fun time at Thanksgiving. I got to go to my Aunt's house. And see my cousins.





We got to play a lot of video games. I got to do his rip stick and go on the golf cart with my cousins. The girls chased us when we were on the golf cart.



They had a basketball hoop and we got to score baskets! I had a really fun time. My cousins names are Jackson (really funny) and Caroline (nice) and Ellison (funny too) and baby Charlotte (who pooped on the rug and the chair!) YUCK!!

I got to go to Aunt Nancy's house and see chickens and play with her dog and play tag with the girls. We got to go on the swings and the food was really yummy. I had turkey.



I got some Baukugan Balls from my cousin, Jeffery. I liked them. We went to the toy store to get Jackson some too.



We got to see the movie "Bolt" and we got to go to a football game; the Arizona Sun Devils. With my cousin Jackson and Jeffery. We got to play football with my cousin's football. It was really fun. Thank you Aunt Karen and Uncle Marc, for letting us stay over. I hope you can come over to our house soon!

My Life

It so awesome! I love my life, it's the awesomest life I've ever had. I love to play with my friends. I go to Uintah (the best school in the world). My teacher is Miss Robinson, and I am in 2nd grade and 2nd grade is so fun because of "choice time". That is a thing where you get to do whatever you want to in the classroom- draw, do anything...

My new soccer team is really good. We don't have a team name yet. I want to earn a rip-stick. I am going to wish for another DS for Christmas, to give to my friend Nathan, so we can do DS mode. His mom thinks he will play it too much.

I like to play kickball and wall ball at recess. It is so much fun.
